Lapland Hotels Ounasvaara Chalets ravintola
The restaurants at Lapland Hotels Ounasvaara Chalets change with the seasons. During the winter season, Restaurant Thulia's breakfast of northern flavors is extended to include dinner. In summer, the unique Summer Restaurant Sauna, located by the Kemijoki River, transforms into the WNTR Sauna. The Kota Restaurant, which operates as a private dining venue, is also available for reservation.
Breakfast of northern flavors
Our breakfast, based on authentic northern flavors and ingredients, is served every morning in the hotel restaurant. From the breakfast buffet, you can find northern fish, leipäjuusto (Finnish squeaky cheese), waffles, and the beloved Hurmos porridge from Lapland Hotels. The breakfast includes all the elements that kickstart a good day, showcasing Lapland hospitality and a rich selection of northern flavors for a relaxed atmosphere.
You can also enjoy breakfast without staying at the hotel for €20 per person (children aged 4–12: €10 per person).

Restaurant Thulia
Restaurant Thulia is a cozy Lapland evening restaurant that is open during the winter season. Our restaurant features three natural stone fireplaces, a large outdoor terrace, and a comfortable lobby bar.

Lobby Bar
The hotel lobby bar is a relaxing place to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of something cold. The lobby bar serves guests during the reception's opening hours.
Kota Restaurant
The atmospheric kota is a piece of authentic Lapland. In a cozy environment, one can excellently dine by the open fire. In the kota, atmosphere and warmth are brought by the large fireplace and a separate stove-heater. The kota can accommodate up to 35 people.
Kota evenings are organized on Thursdays in the fall and spring. At other times, the kota restaurant is available for booking by groups.
Alpenjäger Slope Restaurant
Alpenjäger is located in the heart of the Ounasvaara slopes, offering a relaxed stop during skiing or outdoor activities. The restaurant’s name and atmosphere draw inspiration from the area’s rich skiing history, dating back to Ounasvaara’s first slalom slopes.
In this cozy restaurant you can enjoy classic alpine favorites – juicy burgers and delicious pizzas, which are also available for take-away. We also offer salad and soup -portions, freshly baked pastries and Tazza hot chocolate – skier’s favourite. The restaurant has full bar licenses.
