Lapland Hotels Pallas offers an unforgettable experience in the heart of Finland's oldest national park, surrounded by the unique nature of Pallas fells. Finland’s first fell hotel exudes traditional Lapland charm, combining cozy accommodation with breathtaking fell views. Guests can enjoy the tranquility of nature, hiking trails, and during winter, cross-country ski tracks and downhill slopes right next to the hotel. A day of exploration is perfectly topped off with the northern flavors served in our restaurant and the soothing warmth of the hotel's saunas.

For guests staying at Lapland Hotels Pallas 20.2.–8.5.2027, guided cross country skiing tours are included in the price. The tours depart from the hotel daily at 10.00. Please ask at the reception for more information.

Lapland Hotels Pallas is located in a unique spot in the heart of the Pallas–Yllästunturi National Park, surrounded by the scenic Pallastunturi fells.

The hotel is easily accessible by car – free parking is available for hotel guests in the hotel courtyard.

There is a bus connection from Kolari railway station to Pallastunturi, timed to coincide with the arrival of night trains.

From Kittilä Airport, there is a demand-responsive taxi service that connects with most Finnair flights. However, this service is not available for all flights.

Breakfast

A breakfast buffet with an array of authentic northern flavors and ingredients is served in the restaurant and included in the accommodation price. Guests not staying with us are also welcome to enjoy breakfast. Read more about breakfast on the restaurant page.

Parking

Arriving by car is easy, with plenty of free parking spots available in the hotel’s yard. Heating plug-ins and two electric vehicle charging stations are also provided.

Traveling with an electric vehicle?

Charging for electric vehicles can be paid through the Plugit app or via a one-time payment service. Charging rates are available from the service provider. Parking at the charging station is allowed only during charging. The charging station provides a maximum output of 11–22 kW.

Saunas

The hotel saunas are available to our guests daily from afternoon to early evening. The use of the public customer sauna is included in the accommodation price. The Vatikuru beach sauna, which was previously available for reservation, is temporarily out of service.

In the hotel's courtyard, at Vatikuru pond, there is a swimming spot in the summer, and an ice hole in the winter from week 8 onwards.

Lapland Safaris equipment rental

Depending on the season, available for rent include skis (for cross-country skiing, backcountry skiing, ski touring, and alpine skiing), sliding snowshoes, traditional snowshoes, pulks, poles, trekking poles, daypacks, backpacks, SUP boards, a rowboat and mountain bikes.

Pets

Pet-friendly rooms are available at the hotel. To ensure availability, please reserve a pet-friendly room in advance through our online store or by contacting the hotel reception. The pet fee is €20 per stay, which includes cleaning, a treat, a water bowl, and a pet towel for use during the visit.

Pets are also welcome in the hotel lobby bar.

The Lapland Hotels Shop, located by the reception, serves within these hours, offering refreshments, sweets, souvenirs, and gifts.

Reception also provides ticket sales for Pallas Ski Resort.

Winter season

Lapland Hotels Pallas – winter magic starting from January

The legendary Pallas hotel opens its doors already on 2.1.2027. Experience the soft tones of polar night, the crispness of midwinter, and the bright warmth of late winter ans spring, all in the embrace of the fell nature. The hotel is located at the tree line, in the middle of the Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park, providing direct access to hiking trails and snowy fields. Skiing trips, snowshoe walks, and the peace of nature await you – right there, where winter starts earlier and feels more authentic.

Ski Resort in the backyard

The Pallas Ski Resort, a true paradise for free riders, is located in the hotel's backyard. The slopes of Pallas Ski Resort are not artificially snowed; instead, the whole concept is based on nature-oriented activities. You can purchase lift tickets at the hotel reception.
