The highlights of the Ounasvaara summer include the popular summer skating track, the scenic lift to the top of the dike and the Bike Park's downhill trails. Marked routes are available for hikers and mountain bikers alike. Along the trails, there are great viewpoints that make hiking an experience all year round.

Diverse slopes and ski runs
Ounasvaara's ski slopes are suitable for beginners as well as for those looking for speed. The Snowpark and the Tottorakka Freeride and Treeride areas attract off-slope skiers. Around 100 kilometres of cross-country ski trails are part of Rovaniemi's more than 200-kilometre network of cross-country ski trails.
