Il Puro goes Olos – flavors and music in the fells
Welcome to the most delicious event of the autumn, when the popular Il Puro restaurant from Lapland Hotels Oulu visits Olos on 19.9. During the evening, enjoy a festival menu inspired by Italian flavors, and the night continues with performances by Kristian Meurman and Jukka Poika.
The delicious weekend continues on Sunday with brunch at the Hirsiravintola. Come and enjoy good food, live music, and the autumn fell atmosphere!
Have Some Finnish – bringing Finnish flavours to the world
Lapland Hotels is part of Visit Finland’s international Have Some Finnish campaign, which brings lucky international travellers to Finland to discover Finnish food, food culture and unique culinary experiences through official tasting events.
The campaign highlights the very best of Finnish food culture – seasonal ingredients, local flavours and memorable dining experiences. We are proud to be part of the campaign, offering our guests authentic Finnish tastes and experiences that tell the story of the northern way of life.
Northern taste experiences are being renewed in our restaurants
We want to offer our guests more diverse experiences with northern flavors and bring our unique ingredients to a more visible role. The beloved surprise menu is our pride, a source of creativity, and a narrative entity. In the future, we will reveal the main ingredients of the menu in advance, but the method of preparation and other details will continue to surprise.
In Tampere, our restaurant Dabbal will offer the surprise menu by pre-order and in conjunction with staycation packages. At the same time, the restaurant focuses on ready-made three-course ensembles that offer an easy way to enjoy northern flavors. In Tampere, the surprise menu can still be enjoyed at restaurant Saivo. We have also developed the iconic Lapland delicacies dish into individual small dishes, “tastes”, from which everyone can assemble a suitable ensemble. Lapland delicacies will also remain as a separate dish alongside the tastes.
The reform concerns all our restaurants. City hotel restaurants will switch to the new model by the end of March, and Lapland à la carte restaurants gradually from the summer onwards. Welcome to explore!
