Lapland Hotels Kilpis is surrounded by breathtaking landscapes on the shores of Lake Kilpis, right next to Saanatunturi. This retro-styled hotel is especially popular among hikers, anglers, and outdoor enthusiasts. The skiing season at Lake Kilpis can last until Midsummer, and adventurous guests can even take a helicopter to conquer nearby mountains. The hotel restaurant serves high-quality northern flavors from breakfast to dinner, and guests can unwind in the hotel's own lakeside sauna after an active day outdoors.

Lapland Hotels Kilpis is located by Kilpisjärvi on the shores of Lake Kilpisjärvi. The hotel is easily accessible by car, with a free parking area available for guests.

You can also reach the hotel using public transport. Buses operate from Muonio bus station, Kittilä airport, and Rovaniemi bus station to the hotel. More detailed schedules can be found on the Matkahuolto website.

Parking

You can easily reach us by car. There is plenty of free parking available at the hotel. Heating sockets are also available, as well as two electric car charging stations.

Are you coming with an electric car?

Charging for electric cars is paid through the Plugit app or a one-time payment service. Charging prices are available from the service provider. Parking at the charging station is allowed only during the charging process. The charging point has a maximum power of 11-22 kW.

Lakeside sauna

Pets

The hotel offers pet-friendly rooms. To ensure availability, please book a pet room in advance through our online store or at the hotel reception. The pet fee is €20 per stay and includes cleaning, a treat, a water bowl, and a pet towel for use during your visit.
