Lapland Hotels SnowVillage is rebuilt every year from scratch in Lainio, Kittilä, and it delights visitors with its changing theme and stunning ice art. SnowVillage is a unique icy complex of about two hectares, using over 20 million kilograms of snow and about 300,000 kilograms of crystal-clear natural ice in its construction.

Lift-assisted sledding
Lift-assisted sledding is Ylläs' new exciting winter activity that can be tried on the 480-meter-long Perherinne 2 track on the Äkäslompolo side, which is entirely reserved for this sport. The special sleds used in ski bobbing have steering wheels and brakes, as well as a structure that allows the sled to be attached to the lift for uphill ascent.

You can buy tickets in advance from Matkahuolto's website or directly from the bus with a card. The transportation is operated by Liikenne O. Niemelä.
