Right next to the hotel, the gondola lift rising to the fell invites you to spend the day on the slopes, while diverse trails and paths call you to dive into the fell nature. The hotel's pool area with whirlpools and steam saunas, fitness center, and pampering treatments provide excellent opportunities for refreshment and relaxation. The restaurants serve northern flavors from breakfast to slope-side dining and dinner.

Location and arrival
DirectionsLapland Hotels Saaga is located in Ylläsjärvi village, next to the southern slopes of the Ylläs ski resort. The hotel is easily accessible by car, with a free parking area available for hotel guests.
You can also reach Ylläs by public transport, and during the winter season, the Ski Bus operates in the Ylläs area, stopping right by the hotel. Read more on the Visit Ylläs website.

Check-in starts at 16.00 and check-out must be completed by 11.00.
Please inquire about the possibility of a late check-out at the hotel reception. The additional fee for late check-out is €10 per hour.

Parking
The hotel grounds feature a parking area that is free for staying guests. Heating sockets and an electric vehicle charging point are also available. Please inform the hotel reception of your car's license plate number when making your reservation or upon arrival. Otherwise, parking costs €1 per hour, payable via the Parkkipiste or Easypark apps.
Each apartment building also has its own parking area in front, equipped with heating sockets.

The hotel offers pet-friendly rooms. To ensure the availability of a pet room, please book in advance through our online store or the hotel reception. The pet fee is €20 per stay and includes cleaning, a treat, a water bowl, and a pet towel for your visit.

SnowVillage in Kittilä
The SnowVillage season has ended. We will open again on 25.12.2026. The theme for the next season will be announced in autumn 2026.
Lapland Hotels SnowVillage is rebuilt from scratch every year in Lainio, Kittilä, and delights its visitors with changing themes and stunning ice art.
SnowVillage is a unique icy complex covering about two hectares, with construction using over 20 million kilos of snow and about 300,000 kilos of crystal-clear natural ice each year. The annually changing theme is announced in the autumn.
