Lapland Hotels Sky Ounasvaara is located amid sweeping views of the horizon, offering winter landscapes of snow-covered trees, rugged cliffs, and the light of the midnight sun. The northern wilderness unfolds right at the hotel’s doorstep, with ski slopes, early-season cross-country trails, and biking paths bringing nature close. The hotel rooms combine the finest materials from Lapland with the presence of nature visible through large windows. In the lobby, the soft glow of a fireplace adds to the cozy atmosphere.
We are renovating the main entrance of the hotel and improving accessibility. The main entrance is expected to be in use until the end of October, but it may be occasionally closed due to construction work. In this case, access to the hotel will be through the entrance located on the left side of the building. Signs will help you find the right route. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the construction work.

Check-in is from 16.00 onwards, and check-out is by 12.00.
Inquire at the hotel reception for the possibility of a late check-out. The cost is €15 per hour after 12.00.
Breakfast
The abundant breakfast buffet, featuring authentic northern flavors and ingredients, is set in the restaurant and is included in the accommodation price. Carport spaces located in the hotel's upper yard can be reserved in advance. The spaces offer sheltered parking opportunities in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.

Charging electric cars
The hotel has two charging stations for electric cars. Charging stations cannot be reserved in advance. Charging of electric cars is paid via the application. Charging prices are available from the service provider. Parking the car at the charging point is only allowed during charging. The power of the charging points is up to 11-22 kW.

The saunas are heated daily 17–21. Separate saunas are available for men and women. Hotel guests can enjoy the sauna free of charge.
Pets
The hotel offers pet-friendly rooms in several categories. To ensure the availability of a pet-friendly room, please book in advance through our online store or directly with the hotel reception. A pet fee of €20 per stay includes cleaning, a treat, a water bowl, and a pet towel for the duration of your visit.
Pets are also welcome in the hotel’s lobby bar.

The hotel reception is open 24 hours a day. The adjacent Lapland Hotels Shop offers refreshments, light snacks, bath products, and souvenirs.
Accessibility
Unfortunately, our restaurant on the 2nd floor is not fully accessible. If needed, we can arrange for guests using a wheelchair to have breakfast or dinner in the lobby bar area or in their room.
