Lapland Hotels Hetta is a peaceful hotel favored by conference-goers and outdoor enthusiasts, located in the village of Hetta, Enontekiö. After a day spent outdoors, guests can unwind at the hotel's cozy sauna and pool area and savor northern flavors in the restaurant, where stunning views of Lake Ounasjärvi and Pyhäkero are part of the dining experience. Vast wilderness areas with hiking trails, as well as an extensive network of cross-country ski tracks and snowmobile routes, offer opportunities for outdoor activities year-round.

Directions

Lapland Hotels Hetta is located in a scenic spot on the shore of Lake Ounasjärvi. The hotel is easily accessible by car, with free parking available for hotel guests.

You can also reach the hotel by public transportation. Buses operate from Kolari train station to Hetta, and there are also bus and taxi connections from Rovaniemi railway station and Kittilä airport to Hetta. Detailed schedules can be found on the Matkahuolto and Rundgren websites.

Check-in and check-out

Check-in is available from 16.00, and check-out is by 12.00.

Please inquire at the hotel reception for the possibility of a late check-out. The additional charge for late check-out is €10 per hour.

Breakfast

The abundant breakfast buffet, featuring authentic northern flavors and fresh ingredients, is served in the restaurant and included in the accommodation price. Guests not staying at the hotel are also welcome to enjoy the breakfast. Read more about our breakfast on the restaurant page.

Parking

You can easily reach us by car. The hotel has plenty of free parking spaces, and each apartment has its own spot with a heating outlet.

Arriving with an electric car?

Charging your electric car is handled via the Plugit app or a one-time payment service. Charging rates are available from the service provider. Parking at the charging station is only allowed during charging. The charging station's power ranges from 11 to 22 kW.

Pool and saunas

The guest saunas and pool area are available free of charge for our hotel guests every day 16–21. Separate saunas are reserved for men and women.

Pets

Pet-friendly rooms are available at the hotel. To ensure availability, please book a pet-friendly room in advance through our online store or by contacting the hotel reception. The pet fee is €20 per stay, which includes cleaning, a treat, a drinking bowl, and a pet towel for use during the visit.

There is a nice beach in front of the hotel on the shore of Lake Ounasjärvi. Please note that the beach deepens quickly.

The starting points of the nearest nature trails can be found 300–400 meters from the Fell-Lapland Visitor Center.
The distance to the boat transport for the Hetta–Pallas route is just over 1 km.
The nearest disc golf course is located about 400 meters from the hotel at Peuratie 23. You can borrow disc golf discs from the hotel.
During the winter season, you can easily access the ski trails from the hotel's yard.
The nearest grocery store and Alko are located 1.4 km away.
