Lapland Hotels Oulu is being renovated! We are currently building a more versatile hotel and restaurant complex in Oulu. As a result of the renovation, Lapland Hotels Oulu will expand with 96 new, high-quality rooms inspired by the mystique of the north, as well as new meeting and event spaces that can accommodate events for up to 1000 people. The hotel expansion will also bring a completely new dining experience to the center of Oulu, enriching the city's food culture.

The renovations will be completed in full in January 2026 – welcome to experience the renovated Lapland Hotels Oulu among the first!

The North meets Italy at Il Puro

The renovation of Lapland Hotels Oulu brings a completely new Italian-style restaurant, Il Puro, alongside the popular Oula Kitchen & Bar. The casual and cozy dinner restaurant combines delicious flavors of the North and Italy.

The restaurant also includes a terrace and a Deli, where you can enjoy high-quality delicacies on the spot or take them with you – a piece of Italy to take home as well. Il Puro will open its doors in January 2026.

Encounters in the atmosphere of the North

With the renovation of Lapland Hotels Oulu, Oulu, the center of the north, has now a new meeting place, when a cozy bar has opened to the hotel. Stop by for an after-work drink to enjoy the homely atmosphere of the north and skillfully crafted drinks by our bartenders, or sip an aperitif while waiting for dinner in peace.

More enchanting rooms

Lapland Hotels in Oulu will be expanded with 96 new high-quality rooms, whose interior design has been inspired by the nature and aesthetics of the North. With the expansion, the total number of rooms will increase to 256.

Up to half of the new rooms are equipped with their own sauna, offering our guests a unique opportunity to relax in the steam of their own room sauna. An award-winning breakfast with northern flavors is always included in the accommodation price.

Organize events for up to 1000 people

The expansion of Lapland Hotels Oulu offers even more versatile facilities for organizing meetings, events, and celebrations right in the center of Oulu. The new meeting rooms Aihki, Bihkka, and Johka allow for events of up to 300 people in one hall. The Renna cabinet at the Il Puro restaurant provides a cozy setting for dinners for 30–40 people, and the glass-roofed inner courtyard can be transformed flexibly into a stage for various events.

The extension complements the historical Ynninkulma, Luosto cabinet, and sauna area – combined, these spaces can accommodate events for up to 1000 people.
