Ounasvaara's ski slopes are suitable for beginners as well as for those looking for speed. The Snowpark and the Tottorakka Freeride and Treeride areas attract off-slope skiers. Around 100 kilometres of cross-country ski trails are part of Rovaniemi's more than 200-kilometre network of cross-country ski trails.
