Lapland Hotels SnowVillage

The theme for the winter season 2024–2025 is the underwater world and its magnificent diversity. Lapland Hotels SnowVillage will open to the public again on December 25, 2024.

The Lapland Hotels SnowVillage is rebuilt from scratch every year in Lainio, Kittilä, and delights visitors with a changing theme and stunning ice art. This upcoming winter, the SnowVillage will feature an underwater world with its diverse marine life, from whales to turtles and from seahorses to octopuses. The SnowVillage is a unique icy creation spanning approximately two hectares, including ice sculptures, an ice bar, an ice restaurant, and snow suites. More than 20 million kilograms of snow and around 300,000 kilograms of crystal-clear natural ice are used for the construction.
