Lapland Hotels SnowVillage is rebuilt from the ground up every year in Lainio, Kittilä, and enchants its visitors with a changing theme and stunning ice art.
This coming winter, SnowVillage celebrates its 25th anniversary with the Pure Celebration theme. – This year, Pure Celebration will be brought to life through circus, festivals, and other international festivities. Among the highlights are a fairground, a Rio de Janeiro carnival area, and an Ice Bar dressed in the green shades of Ireland, says Maria Astrén, Area Manager of Lapland Hotels.
SnowVillage is a unique icy world of about two hectares, built each year with more than 20 million kilos of snow and about 300,000 kilos of crystal-clear natural ice. The annually changing theme is revealed every autumn.

Location and arrival
DirectionsLapland Hotels SnowVillage is located in Lainiot, Kittilä, at Lainiotie 566. The site offers ample parking space, and you can reach it by your own or rental car, taxi, snowmobile, or even by skiing from Levi or Ylläs. The shortest skiing route from Ylläsjärvi is approximately 15 km, while from Levi, it's about 50 km.
There is no public transportation to Lapland Hotels SnowVillage, but you can also arrive through safaris organized by Lapland Safaris from both Levi and Ylläs.
