WNTR Sauna will be open until 31.3.2024. After that the sauna can be rented for private use only.
This winter, try the heat of the best sauna in Rovaniemi and the chill waters of the river Kemijoki! The legendary Kesärafla Summer Restaurant & Sauna is expanding its operations: In the coming winter season, this Rovaniemi summer hangout will be open as WNTR Sauna, an atmospheric living room for both locals and travelers to the north. The sauna is located next to the Ounasvaara Ski Resort by the river Kemijoki, only a five-minute drive from Rovaniemi city centre. The restaurant and the sauna can be found outside Lapland Hotels Ounasvaara Chalets by the riverbank.

PRICES & RESERVATIONS
Entrance fee:
24 € / person, 12 € children aged 4–12
The entrance fee includes access to the sauna, ice swimming hole, use of the outdoor fire and Lapland Hotels slippers. The duration of a sauna session is a maximum of 1.5 hours. Children are welcome to sauna reservations until 6 pm. Make a reservation for WNTR Sauna easily through the saunat.fi website.

Note: It is also possible to visit the area without using the sauna at a cost of €15 per person. Access to the area cannot be reserved in advance; payment is only accepted on-site.
SAUNA AND ICE SWIMMING
The heart of WNTR Sauna is a spacious wood-burning sauna, known as the best traditional Finnish sauna experience in town! An ice swimming hole has been opened for the sauna visitors. The sauna seats max. 35 people at a time. Separate dressing and showering facilities are available for men and women.
INTERESTED IN PRIVATE SAUNA?
It is possible to reserve the sauna for private use outside regular opening hours (Mon/Tue and on opening days before 2 pm) at a rate of €650 for 2 hours, for a maximum of 20 people. Additional hours are charged at €200 per hour.
The sauna can also be booked for private use during regular sauna opening hours if there are no other reservations for certain time. In this case, the payment is based on a minimum charge for 12 people, even if there are fewer participants.

HOT REINDEER SOUP AND SNACKS BY THE CAMPFIRE
In the area, you have the opportunity to purchase food and drinks to enjoy in the sauna lounge or by the campfire. We serve warm reindeer goulash soup and reindeer sausages or marshmallows flavored with mulled wine to roast over the fire.
The restaurant container, the campfire area, and the sauna all have a license to serve alcoholic beverages, so bringing your own food to the area is not allowed.
