CURRENT INFORMATION ON CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC (UPDATED 25.11.2021)

COVID-19 passport required on evenings at our restaurants in transmission-phase regions

Starting 26 November 2021, patrons of our restaurants in regions subject to transmission-related restrictions will be asked to show their COVID-19 passport on evenings. Passports will be required from 5 p.m. to closing time.
The COVID-19 passport will be required in the following restaurants:

Passports will be required from 4 p.m. to closing time.

The COVID-19 passport does not apply to the hotel accommodation.

MEASURES TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF CUSTOMERS AND STAFF

Hand sanitiser is easily accessible for both customers and employees. Hand sanitiser stations are available in key locations in the hotel’s public areas, such as hotel and restaurant entrances, hotel lobby, reception, bars, meeting rooms and near the lifts in the hotel corridors.

We keep a safe distance of 2 metres from customers and employees and make sure to keep it. We ensure this also by instructing customers with various reminder signs and during service situations. Chairs and tables are placed further apart from each other in the public areas, restaurants and meeting rooms.

We require all customers over the age 12 to use a face mask in our indoor public areas in transmission-phase regions. Due to healt related issues, also face visors can be applied. We also strongly recommend the use of a face mask in our hotels that are not in the community transmission phase,

.

We recommend downloading and using the contact tracing application Koronavilkku to stop the spread of COVID 19

Our hotels use protective sneeze guards in the immediate vicinity of the cash registers at the reception and bar to keep the customer service situation safe.

We have made further investments in our employees’ good hand hygiene. Our employees wash their hands even more frequently than before, use hand sanitiser regularly and wear disposable gloves when working with unpacked food products.

We have increased the cleaning and hygiene measures in our hotels. Public areas are thoroughly cleaned. All contact surfaces (for example door handles, water taps, tabletops) and sanitary facilities are cleaned several times a day with disinfecting cleaner.

Hotel rooms are tidied and bathrooms disinfected carefully according to recommendations from the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare. In our cleaning we pay special attention to contact surfaces and the bathroom. Washing the bedlinen destroys any potential viruses and bacteria. Daily cleaning is done only at the customer’s request.

Some hotels serve buffet breakfast  and in some of our hotels take away breakfast is only available. Check current information about breakfast here.  We pay extra attention to safe breakfast service and have made further investments to make sure to retain an extremely high level of hygiene during service situations.
