Lapland Hotels SnowVillage reveals the magic of ice and snow.
Every November, Lainio welcomes a unique, two-hectare combination of icy snow suites, ice sculptures, ice restaurants and an ice bar.
Each year, over 20 million kilos of snow and 300,000 kilos of crystal-clear natural ice are used to build the structures and sculptures of SnowVillage.

 

 

THE LAPLAND HOTELS SNOWVILLAGE TAKES ITS VISITORS TO THE WORLD OF NORDIC MYTHOLOGY

This winter, Lapland Hotels SnowVillage, attracting the interest of international media, is built for the 22nd time in Kittilä, Finland, next door to the Ylläs ski resort. In the SnowVillage, showcasing art made of ice, the theme for the coming winter is Nordic mythology. The wonderful winter favourite will open its doors to day visitors on 25 December 2023.

ICE RESTAURANT 

In the Ice restaurant we serve a three course dinner. In Log restaurant Krouvi you can eat a la carte in warm and cozy surrounding. Ice Bar is maybe the coolest bar in the world! Keep warm with a cup of hot chocolate or enjoy chilled cocktail made with Nordic ingredients.
