FAQ REGARDING THE EMPLOYEE CO-OPERATION NEGOTIATIONS AT NORTH EUROPEAN INVEST OY
Press release | Thu Sep 03 10:04:00 2020
WILL THE EMPLOYEE CO-OPERATION NEGOTIATIONS LEAD TO SOME HOTELS BEING CLOSED?
The ongoing co-operation negotiations do not in any way signify a total closure of our hotels in the current epidemic and customer demand situation in Finland. Our hotels remain open according to our current plans and almost as normal.
WHAT WILL THE EMPLOYEE CO-OPERATION NEGOTIATIONS IMPACT?
The adjustment measures do, of course, impact all of our sectors. However, they will not impact, for example, our service offering or service level. The purpose of the negotiations is to give us flexibility according to the number of customers. In this sense, service companies like us do not operate with an “on–off switch” with either 0% or 100% of the personnel.
Our units will primarily remain open, regardless of their sector. Our plans for opening the ski centres and the opening hours of hotels and restaurants remain the same.
CAN I MAKE AN RESERVATION FOR THE WINTER?
Yes you can. This coming winter, we are investing heavily in Finnish tourists and will be providing northern magic almost as before. Since this summer’s, we have provided flexible cancellation terms to our customers to make them feel safe about making a booking with us. These flexible terms will remain valid for our customers.
WHAT ARE THE CURRENT CANCELLATION TERMS?
TUntil further notice, we offer free cancellations and changes to all the new accommodation reservations. The free change and cancellation right is valid until 6 PM on the arrival date, after which the cancellation fee is 100%.
HOW WILL YOU CONSIDER THE SAFETY OF CUSTOMERS AND EMPLOYEES DURING COVID-19?
The COVID-19 epidemic has changed the way we encounter people and provide experiences. We want to guarantee the safety of our guests and employees with various measures. You can read more about the measures here.
