
This is how the OnLine booking system works
The Lapland Hotels OnLine system allows you to book rooms and certain holiday packages to all our destinations in Lapland; Lapland Hotel Riekonlinna – Saariselkä, Sky Ounasvaara – Rovaniemi, Ylläskaltio – Ylläs, Äkäshotelli – Ylläs, Sirkantähti – Levi, Olos – Muonio, Pallas – Pallastunturi, Hetta – Enontekiö, Kilpis – Kilpisjärvi.
How to make a booking
SEARCH

Choose the hotel you want.

Choose how many people will be staying.

Choose how many rooms you would like to book.

Arrival date: Select the correct arrival day, month and year.

Departure date: Select the correct departure day, month and year.

Click on ’SEARCH’
The system will check the availability for your search criteria for the dates you have selected and list the available rooms, rates and special offers.

Choose the type/rate you want by clicking on ’Make a Booking’.
You will be taken to the actual booking confirmation. You will be given the information related to your booking at the top of the screen. If you wish to change something, you can return to section 1 and perform a new search.
BOOKING / CONFIRMATION:

Enter complete details of people staying.
- Forename
- Surname
- Street address, postcode, town and country
- Telephone number
- Email address (compulsory data, as you will be issued a confirmation by email)

Please also inform how you wish to pay:
- credit card
It is safe to enter your credit card details, as the connection is secured with SSL certification.

Click the Continue button on the right

Check the booking information
When all the details are correct, click ’CONFIRM BOOKING’.
Following this the information will be sent to the hotel, and you will soon receive an on-screen confirmation of your booking. The same confirmation will also be sent to your email address you provided. Keep the confirmation and booking number in a safe place, you will need the booking number if you need to change or cancel the booking.

Changing a booking
It is possible to change a booking on the OnLine system as far as concerns name of persons. If you would like to make changes to the number of persons arriving or the arrival date, please contact the Hotel or Sales Desk direct on tel. +358 16 3232.
We charge EUR 20 for any alterations made.
Cancellation of a booking
If you would like to cancel an OnLine booking you have already made, it should be done via the OnLine system. When cancelling a booking the system will ask you for the reservation number, which you can find from your confirmation.
Cancellations terms for OnLine bookings
Single night bookings may be cancelled on the previous day by 6 p.m. with an administrative charge of EUR 45.
For
the cancellation of more than one night, we return half of the value of
the complete booking if the cancellation is made more than 14 days
prior to the planned arrival date. Any cancellations made after this
period will not receive a refund.
With matters relating to the returning of a deposit fee, please contact the sales staff of the hotel in question directly.
On
the left-hand side of the booking page, you will see the ‘Cancel
Booking’ button. By clicking this link, you can cancel your booking.
Booking number: enter the booking number you were sent by email.
Click the ’Continue’ button
Your booking will then be cancelled.
Frequently asked questions (FAQ):
Is it safe to enter my credit card details over the internet?
The
OnLine booking system uses a generally accepted SSL protocol for
transferring credit card information. This ensures your information is
securely transferred to the hotel.
Why am I asked what time I will be arriving at the hotel?
If you intend to arrive after 6 p.m., you should provide this information when making your booking. In this way, the hotel will keep your room for you after 6 p.m. If you fail to arrive, the hotel has the right to charge the accommodation price in full. This is an internationally accepted practice and also stipulated by the Scandinavian Hotel Conditions.
If no arrival time is mentioned and the hotel guest does not arrive before 6 p.m., the hotel has the right to give your room to someone else.
How can I pay for a reservation made over the internet?
You can pay just with credit card.
Are the internet rates the same as regular rates?
The booking system has the same rates as the hotels. It is also worth checking last-minute and special offers.
