Ylläs-Ski has a cozy log house, "Lastenpirtti" for kids. Families can use the house for eating their own snacks, resting, changing diapers, or just for taking a break from skiing.

Ski buss

Ylläs shuttle bus is a handy way of travelling from your accommodation to the ski resort and back. The shuttle bus also operates a couple of times a day between the villages of Äkäslompolo and Ylläsjärvi. Downhill skiers can include unlimited bus travel on the days they go downhill skiing in their passes for €3.5/day.

Area passes (lift pass + bus ticket) are on sale at all lift pass sales outlets. Non-skiers can buy a ticket on the bus for €3.5/journey. Trips between villages €7/person/trip. Children under 4 go free on the shuttle busses.

N.B.! When you buy a seasonal or a corporate pass, this gives you free access to the shuttle busses throughout the season!

Y•1 Ski Shop

In the large Y1 Ski Shop you will find clothing and equipment for the whole family: base layer items, hats, gloves, scarves, buffs and balaclavas for facing the snowstorm. Jackets, trousers, rucksacks for downhill skiing and free time as well as sweatshirts, hoodies, cardigans and jumpers for lounging.
