The Ylläs ski school is a real fell ski tuition base which nestles in the lap of seven fells on the Ylläs Äkäslompolo slope. Our over 60 professional ski instructors provide quality and a real sense of achievement for all types of skiing and for all abilities. We also have instructors for adaptive skiing.
Our ski school instructors are experienced, trained ski professionals and it is their job to see that you enjoy your course and that you improve in your chosen discipline.
And don’t forget that it’s a good idea for even experienced skiers to brush up their skills every year - we really do have something to offer - even for you!
Private lessons and group lessons
Ylläs Ski school organizes dynamic, interesting and improving lessons for all ages and abilities from intensive private lessons to cosy group lessons. Try out our popular alpine, snow board and telemark group lessons for adults. They aren't only inexpensive but also very rewarding. For demanding adventurer we offer Off-Piste excursion to the back country of Ylläs fell.
The dynamic, free of charge Fischer Pro Test will give you the chance to discover the most suitable new season skis for you as well as to learn some tips on turning. These courses are held on weeks 8 - 10 and on Easter.
Werneri Ski School
Werneri Ski School for children is the most popular programme in our school. Werneri Ski School offers challenge for 6 - 12 years old children on every level in alpine skiing and snow boarding.
Check out our diverse week programme which is valid on weeks 52 - 1 and 8 - 16. Besides the lessons and courses we offer funny and playful races where all the participants will be rewarded! We can also tailor various competitions and ski slope programme for groups.
