TAKE IN THE CHARMS OF AN URBAN FELL
Lapland Hotel Sky Ounasvaara
ENJOY THE CHARMS OF URBAN LAPLAND
On top of Ounasvaara fell, all activities will be close to you. You will find our hotel on top of a ski resort steeped in tradition in the immediate vicinity of SantaSports sports institute offering both spa treatments and versatile facilities for indoor exercise. Or why not grab one of our special sleighs and dash down the hill, both in the summer and in the winter.
In the winter, the beautiful landscapes of Ounasvaara will call out to you – with direct access to cross-country tracks, slopes and magnificent hiking routes straight outside the hotel door. And if you do not feel like going to the woods alone, our partners Lapland Safaris offer versatile adventures in the wilderness for both summer and winter.
If you have an appetite for authentic Lappish delicacies, or for the more fulsome favourites of sports enthusiasts, our menus will have something for every taste. And the restaurants of Lapland Hotels are not your typical “chain restaurants”. The menus of Sky Ounasvaara, for example, which is known as one of the finest restaurants in the country, contain not only Lappish specialities but also international flavours - which you can savour while admiring the magnificent natural scenery from our panoramic restaurant.
