
This is how the OnLine booking system works
The Lapland Hotels OnLine system allows you to book rooms and certain holiday packages to all our destinations in Lapland; Lapland Hotel Riekonlinna – Saariselkä, Lapland Hotel Sky Ounasvaara – Rovaniemi, Lapland Hotel Bear´s Lodge-Rovaniemi, Lapland Hotel Ylläskaltio – Ylläs, Lapland Hotel Äkäshotelli – Ylläs, Lapland Hotel Sirkantähti – Levi, Lapland Hotel Olos – Muonio, Lapland Hotel Pallas – Pallastunturi, Lapland Hotel Hetta – Enontekiö, Lapland Hotel Kilpis – Kilpisjärvi.
How to make a booking
SEARCH

Choose the hotel you want.

Choose how many people will be staying.

Choose how many rooms you would like to book.

Arrival date: Select the correct arrival day, month and year.

Departure date: Select the correct departure day, month and year.

Click on ’SEARCH’
The system will check the availability for your search criteria for the dates you have selected and list the available rooms, rates and special offers.

Choose the type/rate you want by clicking on ’Make a Booking’.
You will be taken to the actual booking confirmation. You will be given the information related to your booking at the top of the screen. If you wish to change something, you can return to section 1 and perform a new search.
BOOKING / CONFIRMATION:

Enter complete details of people staying
- Forename
- Surname
- Street address, postcode, town and country
- Telephone number
- Email address (compulsory data, as you will be issued a confirmation by email) -
Please also inform how you wish to pay:
- credit card
It is safe to enter your credit card details, as the connection is secured with SSL certification. -
Click the Continue button

Check the booking information
When all the details are correct, click ’CONFIRM BOOKING’.
Following this the information will be sent to the hotel, and you will soon receive an on-screen confirmation of your booking. The same confirmation will also be sent to your email address you provided. Keep the confirmation and booking number in a safe place, you will need the booking number if you need to change or cancel the booking.

Cancelling a reservation
You can cancel your Online booking via the Online system using your booking number. Please click on the "CANCEL RESERVATION” –button on the bookings page.
Terms of cancellation for Online bookings
Bookings for one night may be cancelled up to a day before arrival (before 6 pm) for a cancellation fee of 45 €.
Cancellations of bookings for more than one night stays are charged 50% of the full price if the cancellation is done up to 14 days before arrival. Cancellations made after this will not be refunded.
The above mentioned general terms of cancellations will not apply to bookings with FLEX-price.
Special terms regarding cancellations apply only to FLEX-price bookings
Reservations for stays longer than one night may be cancelled up to 14 days before the date of arrival for a cancellation fee of 45€ . Reservations cancelled later than this will not be refunded. Bookings for one night stays may be cancelled without charge up to a day before arrival (before 6 pm).
To request a refund, please contact the hotel in question within two weeks after the date of cancellation and give your bank account number to receive the refunded payment according to the terms of cancellation.
Frequently asked questions (FAQ):
Is it safe to enter my credit card details over the internet?
The OnLine booking system uses a generally accepted SSL protocol for transferring credit card information. This ensures your information is securely transferred to the hotel.
Why am I asked what time I will be arriving at the hotel?
If you intend to arrive after 6 p.m., you should provide this information when making your booking. In this way, the hotel will keep your room for you after 6 p.m. If you fail to arrive, the hotel has the right to charge the accommodation price in full. This is an internationally accepted practice and also stipulated by the Scandinavian Hotel Conditions.
If no arrival time is mentioned and the hotel guest does not arrive before 6 p.m., the hotel has the right to give your room to someone else.
How can I pay for a reservation made over the internet?
You can pay just with credit card.
Are the internet rates the same as regular rates?
The booking system has the same rates as the hotels. It is also worth checking last-minute and special offers.
