Ski waxing hall
A ski waxing facility of no less than 700 m2 is reserved for the use of first-snow skiers. The hall is divided into 6 separate, air-conditioned areas. These facilities are available for a charge and it is advisable to book in advance. In addition the hotel also has a communal 50 m2 waxing facility that is open 6-24. The ski rental office also offers a waxing service.
First snow tracks
- 6 km of tracks created with a snow cannon are commissioned following the first frosts in October
- 60 km of packed first-snow tracks are commissioned following the first snows in October-November
- ‘warm' tracks running up by the tree line, where the temperature rarely drops below -18º C, hence the name, so training is always a possibility
- 30 km of illuminated tracks
- for biathletes a 22 person shooting range with artificial tracks. 15 illuminated places
The Gold tracks of Olos
The best training conditions have been created for the best skiers. Accommodation, air-conditioned waxing halls and a high grade network of artificial tracks. The very best results are achieved by training on the Gold tracks of Olos. The season starts in early October.
The Olos network of ski tracks comprises more than 200 kilometres of well-groomed tracks. They join Olos, Pallas, Jeris and other well-known ski resorts in a single, extensive skiing playground. New for Olos is the 8 km scenic track running along the tree line.
